Until planning a wedding we had no idea celebrants existed (we had no idea about weddings in general) and very quickly Joanne - the celebrant of the north became the most crucial part of our plans. We gave her the really difficult but important job of announcing to all our friends and family we secretly eloped. We were so worried about disappointing them and how to tell them but Joanne wrote us a gorgeous little poem and it went down better than we could have ever imagined with everyone clapping and cheering. We also did a little ceremony for our family before announcing which included secret vows, surprise witnesses and doggy ring bearers! It was our perfect ceremony and we can’t thank Joanne enough for creating it.
